A Very Married Christmas!

One of my main New Year resolutions is to be a better blogger. I think one thing that would make me better at this would be a new camera. I just realized that is what I need right after Christmas! Ha! There's always next year!

Well it is safe to say that we have had a wonderful first Christmas as a married couple! Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I love all the lights, decorations, and Christmas music. Most of all everyone is in a wonderful mood! I love shopping and this was the first  year I got to do my own Christmas shopping for everyone. Normally, I just leave it up to my mom.

We started the month off by buying our first Christmas tree. We knew we would be out of town the whole Christmas holiday, so we just bought a little one for this year only! I did have the best time decorating with all my new ornaments that I have never used.
We really needed a tree topper!

One weekend that we stayed in Ridgeland, we went over to Jacqueline and Jim's house for dinner and a football game. Jacqueline and I, of course, stayed in the kitchen and caught up on different things going on, while the boys watched the game.

One weekend, we celebrated one of our friends engagement at their party in Grenada. We had a really good time seeing friends that we haven't seen in a while. I even got to see this sweet friend!

So happy I got to see Jordan!

Finally, when I got out of school on Thursday, we started packing for our week long stay in north Mississippi. I was so excited to spend all this time with family.

We had 5 rounds of Christmas fun that started on Sunday night at my parents. If I had a better camera, then I would maybe have taken more pictures. Here are some that I did have from the past 3 days.

I think Andrew enjoyed Jake and Hayes' present more than his!

Sweet Lucy had a wonderful Christmas!

I finally got to go with Jamie and the kids to see Santa! I have not missed out on that yearly trip to see Santa since Hayes was born and just because I live 3 hours away, this year was no different! Sweet Lucy was not happy to see Santa!
We have an amazing first Christmas together and we realized how blessed we really are!

We hope you all had a wonderful christmas and a happy New Year!
