A Wonderful Weekend!

It is weekends like this that make us realize how truly blessed we are. We had a great weekend celebrating Mother's Day with both of our moms. We have wonderful moms that do more for us than we could ever deserve. We are very fortunate to live close enough that we can see both of our moms in the same weekend. We left Jackson on Friday and went to Andrew's parent's house. We had dinner with his family Friday night and then headed to my parent's house on Saturday. Andrew and I went and picked up Jamie's kids and took them to MayFest in Olive Branch. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time! Hayes and Jake even got to bungee jump. Here are some pics at MayFest!

Saturday night we finally made it to one of Hayes' baseball games. They won so that made it even better!

Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day by going to church with my family. Lucy's baby dedication was during the service, so it was an extra special Mother's Day. After church, we all celebrated Mother's Day with a lunch at my grandparent's house. We had a great time being with family and recognizing the wonderful mothers in our family.

We hope you all had a great Mother's Day! We are starting to get things packed up and moved and next weekend we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary! We have a lot of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

On the Road Again!

Yes! We are moving! Not only are we moving, but we are moving closer to our families! We have known for a while that Andrew got a job in North Mississippi, but I guess it didn't feel real until lately. I  have been really hesitant to blog about our move because I was scared that something was going to happen. I kept thinking it was too good to be true! Everyone that knows me knows I have been praying for this move and God answered our prayers. Not that I haven't loved living in Jackson for our first year of marriage, but I also love the idea of spending our second and many more years of marriage close to our families. I will always cherish our first year of marriage and the time that we spent in our first house! Another thing that I hate to leave behind is my job. I have made many friends that I hope to keep in  touch with. I also will really miss living in the same place as these two! (I guess ya'll will have to just move too!)

Andrew and I have a very busy month of May. Andrew finishes up school next week and will be back home this weekend! I am so thankful that his eight week rotation is about to come to an end. We also will celebrate 1st anniversary in a couple of weeks. By the end of the month, Andrew will graduate from PT school, I will finish my fourth year of teaching, and we will have moved out of our first home. We are really excited about this next chapter in our lives and can't wait to see what God has planned for us!

Fran's Weekend!

Two Fridays ago, I took off from school to go to the beach to celebrate Frannie! Fran and I have been friends since High school, but became BBF's our freshman year of college. Over the past 8 or so years, Frannie and I have had so many great memories together and I can't wait for celebrate her wedding in June!
The Bride to Be!

I was so excited to see all my friends and get to spend the weekend at the beach! We left out early Friday morning, so we could get there around lunch on Friday.  Of course it was raining, so we went to lunch in Seaside! On Saturday, we laid out at Allie's house and I think everyone got plenty of sun! We had so much fun the whole weekend catching up and reminiscing about old times! Can't wait until June 22 to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Franks! Also, I can't wait to be reunited for another weekend with everyone! I had to steal some pictures from Jac because I didn't take my camera! So here are some pics from the weekend!

finally updating our crazy life!

I know I have not been doing a very good job of updating our blog, but it's been crazy around here. Andrew is in Memphis doing his last clinical. He has 3 weeks left! I can not wait for these 3 weeks to come to an end. I guess I have never lived all alone and I will say it's not fun. All in a weeks time, I locked myself in the garage, made the air conditioner man come to our house for no reason, and thought our little dog was dying. Needless to say, Andrew says I literally can not make it on my own. I have been driving up to see Andrew just about every weekend. I have been staying busy at home after school to make the week go by faster. I have been trying to start packing up my classroom on top of packing up our house. Since I started this blog to keep up with our memories and make a scrapbook of our lives, I am just going to post some pictures of things we have been doing since spring break!

The kids came to Jackson to stay for a few days during Spring Break and we had a blast! Here are some pics from that week!

Andrews's nephew, Levi, turned 2 during Spring Break. Lauren did a great job decorating for the event. Levi was thrilled about his Mickey Mouse cake.

This past weekend Andrew and I took the kids to the zoo! We all had a great time, even Andrew admitted that we had fun!

This is one of the only weekends that Andrew got to come home! We had a great time relaxing and spending time with friends!

Three more weeks until he comes home and then it will be almost time for us to move. I would say that the Jeffreys' have a busy and exciting next few months

I have gone camera crazy!

Since we have bought our new camera, I take pictures of everything. It drives Andrew crazy, but atleast  I am using it. We haven't had much going on lately besides work and school. We went up to my family this weekend. It was the first time Andrew had been up since Christmas. We had a crazy fun-filled family weekend. When we do go up for a weekend, we try to plan as much as we can. We got a late a start on Friday, because Andrew had to work late. I was getting very anxious waiting on him to get home so we could leave. We finally made it to my parents late that night. Saturday was busy, but I wouldn't have rather done anything else. One of my childhood friends had a Superhero birthday party for her 3 year old boy. Her house had Spiderman, Superman, and Batman decorations everywhere. It was decorated so cute. Here are a few pic from the party.

Later on that night my whole family went to eat at Memphis BBQ. It was so good. When my whole family goes to eat, it can get very crazy and chaotic. This time was still crazy, but we all had the best time. I did get a little crazy with the camera though!

This is one of the bad things about leaving to go back to Jackson. Jake kept saying today,"My want to go to Jackson." Jamie sent me this picture as we were walking out the door. We might not have to be this far apart for too much longer, but that will be another post soon!

This week we celebrating Valentine's Day at school and we get to do fun activities all week! I love this holiday. I hope everyone has a great week and a great Valentine's!
